Muga silk…now more yardage

I’ve just been advised …after months of wondering…that the handspun muga silk is 1380 metres per skein  (almost 1500 yards!!!) .  This is quite a bit finer than I had ordered.  For those that have purchased – and knit with the Muga – you already noticed the difference.  Personally I just started weaving with it and so the difference in my set was quite different. It’s beautiful – just a lot finer than expected.    Since I like to post a yarn…and a sale…the Muga silk will be 20% off until July 9th (just mention blog 752011).  All skeins are sold by weight so just let me know approximately how many yards you are looking for and I’ll find a skein close to that.  Happy shopping!
