What’s in the garden

Thought I’d share some of the photos from my “other” life as a gardener.  I grow mostly food for eating and a few flowers that self-seed – also herbs that are perenials.  August and September are canning months, as well as a great time to dry beans and herbs before the wet weather sets in.

First canned green beans from the garden – Blue Lake and Aunt Jeans (flat beans).

Nez Pierce beans from this summer cooking for lunch.  Truly my favorite bean!Beans drying….not sure what kind yet.
